Diretrizes para a condução de uma atividade de inteligência competitiva: uma análise preliminar

Inteligência Competitiva (IC) é um tema em expansão na literatura da estratégia, especialmente pela importância da mesma como uma atividade de suporte ao processo de tomada de decisão estratégica, o qual tem passado por desafios crescentes neste início de século XXI decorrentes do crescimento e da modernização da competição percebidos em praticamente todos os setores econômicos mundiais. Buscando-se contribuir para a evolução da base de conhecimento existente sobre IC, neste ensaio teórico, a partir da análise dos estudos realizados por alguns dos principais autores que pesquisam o respectivo tema, propõe-se dez diretrizes para uma adequada condução da respectiva atividade e as classificam, conforme as fases que o caracterizam. Como resultado, constatou-se que as respectivas diretrizes podem ser agrupadas em quatro dimensões principais: pessoais, comportamentais, tecnológicas e metodológicas. E que tais dimensões apresentam relevância diferenciada ao longo das fases do ciclo de IC.
